EBLI offers a cost effective approach that can greatly improve the reading, spelling, and writing performance of learners of all ages and ability levels. It is research-based, tested, and proven. Hundreds of teachers have already received EBLI training. With the focus on teacher training and follow-up support as opposed to the selling of 'stuff', teachers have found that EBLI is easy-to-implement and can be used with any existing classroom curriculum. EBLI works with a whole class of students as well as in small group and one-on-one instruction [Results of EBLI Studies].

Available EBLI Trainings

• 3-Day EBLI Training: Intended for Elementary teachers as well as those teaching all grade levels (K-12 and above) as Special Education teachers, Literacy Coaches, Title I teachers, HS remedial reading teachers, and Paraprofessionals.
• 2-Day Secondary Teacher EBLI Training: Intended for all Middle School and High School content area teachers as well as ACT Prep Teachers

EBLI is about results

EBLI works. The program has a proven track record of helping students. Students improve reading speed, accuracy, comprehension and spelling. EBLI has helped dramatically improve MEAP scores up to 30 percentile points; DIBELS scores have improved as much as 59% in Nonsense Word Fluency. In addition, high school students taught EBLI improve their ACT scores significantly more than those not given EBLI instruction.

What EBLI offers

To synthesize the information considered “best literacy practice” in a manner that can be implemented effectively and efficiently to improve all students’ level of reading achievement, we provide a continuum of educational services.

• Teacher/paraprofessional three-day EBLI training sessions.
• On-site staff-centered consultation services, including demonstration teaching, and implementation/intervention instructional coaching.
• Assist in incorporating EBLI into RTI (Response to Intervention) plans.

• Call to sign up for a training at our center in Flushing or to host a training at your school/district (min. 10 participants)
• For trainings hosted at your site, the 3 Day EBLI training can be scheduled with 2-3 weeks between training days. On site consultation is provided between training days to assist teachers in refining their EBLI practices.
• All Secondary EBLI trainings are scheduled with at least one week between training days.
