Services we Provide
To synthesize the information considered ‘best literacy practice’ in a manner that can be implemented effectively and efficiently to improve all students’ level of reading achievement, we provide a continuum of educational services.
- Curriculum review of the school or district’s literacy curriculum and current intervention practices
- Development of a site-based literacy action plan for infusing research-based literacy strategies
- Teacher/Paraprofessional E.B.L.I. Training (research-based reading strategies) (see below for more information)
- Design and Implementation of Student Mentor Program (Student-tutor training and implementation of coaching services)
- On-site staff-centered consultation services (Demonstration teaching, implementation/intervention instructional coaching)
- Staff-centered consultation services via e-mail, phone, and fax
Upcoming Training Sessions
We offer 3-day training sessions on a regular basis at our Flushing office. These standard training sessions can accomodate up to 10 participants, and for an additional fee can be paired with one day of on-site consultation.
